Heat exchanger tubes are designed for heat transfer processes and mostly applied in heating, cooling, condensation and evaporation of liquids, gases, steam and their mixes. There are different types of heat exchanger tubes such as u-bent, longitudinally finned, plain, etc. There are several features that are to be taken into account when designing heat exchanger tubes: Diameter, thickness, length, pitch, corrugation. For example, heat exchanger tubes with small diameter makes it more economic and compact, so far diameter can define more effective technical solution.
