Product Description

External level transducer is an instrument which adopts sonar ranging and micro vibration analysis technology to measure the liquid level from the outside of the container. There is no need to opening holes on the tank wall, as well as the flange, it doesn't contact the gas and the liquid in the tank. It is a completely non-contact instrument to realize the online installation and maintenance.

Principles of External Level Transducer

 

 External level transducer is an intelligentized transducer. The main body of the instrument is installed near the container to be measured and the measuring probe is installed on the external wall of the container. The measuring probe realizes the measurement by transmitting and receiving sonar signals which penetrate the container walls to form echoes.

Micro vibration analysis technology is the most powerful external sonar signal processing technology so far. This advanced sonar signal processing technology originates from nearly 10,000 sets external level transducers applications around the world, the application experiences under hundreds of working conditions and more than twenty years of industrial data accumulation. By summarizing those knowledge and experiences to form the advanced algorithm, update and support the software continuously.

Through the intelligentized processing method of micro vibration analysis which owns many patents, the substantial attenuation of the sonar signal which penetrate the container wall and the speed of sound changes in liquid and other difficulties are overcome, the residual vibration of container wall, multiple echoes, false echoes and other interference are eliminated. To capture the true echo accurately, so that it can reliably handle a variety of complex site conditions to secure steady and accurate results.
