The difference between self-aligning cylindrical roller bearing and normal cylindrical roller bearing is that self-aligning
cylindrical roller bearings has a split outer ring and self-aligning plain
bearing ring between outer ring and inner ring. They are most often used in the dry end and frequently replace the previous solution that involved rocker block housings. Length changes are easily compensated between the rollers and the
inner ring raceway in the bearing. The spherical sliding surface of a self-aligning plain bearing ring compensates potential alignment inaccuracies of the cylinders.Mounted as floating bearings at the operator's end of a dryer roll or M.G. cylinder.
Capabilities range from 80mm(bore diameter) to 1800mm(outer diameter)
