The two rows of rollers enable the bearing to bear a heavy load. The self-aligning roller bearing not only has a wide range of size, but also includes special designs such as bearings for vibrating screens and similar applications.
The self-aligning roller bearing can bear both a greater radial load and a certain axial load. As the outer ring ball race of the bearing is spherical, the bearing has a self-aligning function and still works when the relative titling degree between the inner ring center line and the outer ring center line is from 1 to 2.5 degrees.
Features
1. Self-aligning double row spherical roller bearing allows for a high degree of angular deflection of the drive shaft.
2. Self-aligning ball bearings are constructed with the inner ring and ball assembly contained within an outer ring that has a spherical raceway. This construction allows the bearing to tolerate a small angular misalignment resulting from deflection or improper mounting.
3. Typical applications: drive (driven) shafts, conveyers, roll shafts
Self aligning roller bearing enables the bearing to operate normally when shaft and housing are misaligned, which can adjust itself and angular alignment tolerance between outer rings.
It is mainly applied in hydroelectric generator, vertical motors, propeller shafts for ships, jib cranes, rolling mail roll necks.
