Product Description
The RD Safety Circulating Valve is a full opening, annulus pressure operated single shot safety circulating valve used in cased hole operations. This tool is primarily used at the end of the well test to isolate the formation and start cyclic operation. At the same time formation fluids are trapped between its ball vale and the ball valve in the test valve. During the downhole operation, the valve can be opened only once.
As a "safety valve" the tool can be operated at any point during the test to close off the work string and isolate the formation. If there is no the four circulating ports, it can be used as a single shot shut off valve.
This tool can also be converted to a straight circulating valve by replacing the ball vale section with a lower adapter.
