when HP hydraulic cone crusher works, only mantle rotates, and strong main shaft keeps still to lessen the vibration in the speed of 400r/min. While the spring can only work at 200r/min with both the mantle and main shaft rotating, and the whole machine is easier to break .So obviously HP is more stable and efficient.
HP has its edge of separate control in three ways. Firstly, the oil lubrication used for heat or cool the temperature recycles automatically. While the spring cone crusher uses grease without a separated system, so you have to add it frequently, no doubt there is oil leak.
