Ritar was established in May, 2002. Within a few years it rapidly became one of China's leading lead acid battery and power supply unit manufacturer in China. It is also one of the few Chinese lead acid battery enterprises that have attained the following certificates: ISO90001:2000, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, UL, CE as well as provides electromagnetic compatibility test standards upon request from customers.

Currently, the Company has over 20 production lines and two manufacturing facilities located in Shenzhen and Hengyang. The Hengyang plant also manufacturers lead plates for use in China Ritar Power's batteries. The Company sells its batteries to over 800 customers who are located throughout 81 countries.
