SOKING' s SOCARE-Slim™ bearings offer a variety of bearingsolutions for even the most unique design challenges. Each SOCARE-Slim™ball bearing series is based on a single cross section which remainsconstant as the bore diameter is increased (in sharp contrast to standardbearings, in which the cross section increases as the bore diameter increases).By using the same series of SOCARE-Slim™ bearings throughout aproduct line, the designer can standardize on common components.

Design features

SOCARE-Slim™ball bearings include internal fit up, lubricants, separators, andother features that meet the most demanding specifications. Stainless steelSOCARE-Slim™ series of ball bearings provide exceptionalcorrosion resistance. Soking plating provides corrosion resistance equal to orbetter than an AISI 440C stainless steel bearing and can be supplied with veryquick delivery.

Availability

SOCARE-Slim™ball bearings are available with a variety of separator options tospace the rolling elements uniformly and prevent contact between them. Separatortypes available include: continuous ring " snap-over pocket, "continuous ring circular pocket, formed wire, toroid, PTFE spacers, and ballbearing spacer separators.

SOCARE-Slim™ open thin section ball bearings range in borediameters from 1.000 inch to 40.000 inches. The seven series in theSOCARE-Slim™ product line range from . 187 x . 187 inch to1.000 x 1.000 inch in cross section. Open bearings are available from stock inthree configurations: angular contact bearings (Type A), Conrad assembled deepgroove radial ball bearings (Type C), and four-point contact radial bearings(Type X).

In many applications, a single SOCARE-Slim™ four-pointcontact radial ball bearing can replace two bearings, compacting the design andsimplifying the bearing mounting while saving money, creating space, and savingweight.
