Introduction of  Launch Super-16 Connector:
As you are probably aware, the Launch X-431 has a number of 16-pin OBD II-style plugs. There are 5 different OBDII-style plugs (6 if you included the Peugeot / Citroen CAN Adaptor) and you have to make sure you use the right one.

Although the machine generally tells you what plug to use, this is only after you have connected to the car, so valuable time can be lost.

With the NEW Launch Super 16, you can avoid all this, because it covers the functions of ALL these popular plugs. In addition Vectra CS and Astra Hs, as well as Saab 9.3s, etc are specially catered for by the Super 16, resulting in much greater capability for the X-431, when interrogating these vehicles.

You dont require a Peugeot / Citroen CAN adaptor if you have a Super 16, which is re-programmable free, to cope with future developments in CAN technology.
