Hot dipped galvanized gabion box is made of high quality low carbon steel wire, wire diameter is from 1.8-4.0mm base on different opening, wire dimensions and tolerances are tested in according to EN 10218, tensile strength is 350-550Mpa conformed to BS 1052.
This type gabion box is heavy zinc coated base on BS 443 or ASTM A641, both standards are available according to clients requirement. Zinc coated will more than 200g/m2 even reach to 300g/m2. It will waste 5g/m2 per year in theory. So the durability is very good and protect road, river for long time.
We have different choices of aperture sizes, standard openings are 60*80mm, 80*100mm, 100*120mm, 120*150mm and expanded to 70*90mm, 80*120mm, 100*150mm etc. clients should inform the exactly aperture base on the filling material diameter and save cost.
