Flattened Expanded Metal Mesh is regular expanded metal which has been cold rolled leaving a flat, smooth surface. Used to protect enclosures, shelving and ramps.
Each expanded metal sheet is expanded in the regular form and then passed through a cold rolled reducing mill. In this process the length of the sheet is elongated - usually about 5% - but the width of the sheet remains the same. The sheet is then sent through a leveler to maintain its flatness. Flattened and Galvanized Expanded Metal Meshes has a galvanized processing at last.
YLD is one of the few manufactures of expanded metal manufacture that can expanded a sheet up to 3,000mm in width and cutting a sheet up to 4,000mm in width.
