Product Description

Reverse Osmosis System

Household RO Water Filtration Unit Introduction

The household RO water filtration unit is a miniaturized water filtration station. It is simple to connect water dispenser with drinking water pipeline directly, connect the tee-joint outlet of water dispenser with pressure tank, and connect rear active carbon with drinking water gooseneck tap. It consists of automatic water feeding system, 5μm PPF melt blowing PP fine filter element, CTO active carbon adsorbent filter and 5μm PPF fine filter + UDF coco shell particle active carbon adsorbent rear filter. The household RO water filtration unit is able to detect running water pressure and make judgment if there is water at the inlet. The water pump is protected as it runs only with water.

Features of RO Filtration System
  • No additive is used or chemical reaction is occurred during treatment and the water is drinkable directly.
  • Automatically make filtered water uninterruptedly with a constant water quality to avoid the risk of secondary contamination.
  • Self-regulate water making system in accordance with demand and energy is saved.
  • Simple maintenance, safe and reliable with low trouble.
Replacement of Filter Element
Type
Filter Element
Replacement Cycle
PPF precipitation element
1st filter element
3 - 6 months
CTO extruded active carbon
2nd filter element
6 - 12 months
UDF particle active carbon
3rd filter element
6 - 12 months
RO reverse osmosis membrane
4th filter element
12 - 24 months
T33 rear active carbon
5th filter element

The replacement cycle is for reference only as the service life of filter element is dependent on the raw water quality.
Process Diagram of Household RO Water Filtration Unit

STAGE 1:  (SED; 5 Micron Sedimentary Filter)

Sediment Removal / PP– Commercial grade sediment filter. Sediment filtration extracts suspended sediment, dirt, rust, silt and sand ranging from filtration of 20 microns down to 5 microns. Reduces particles 8 times smaller than what the naked eye can see.

STAGE 2:  (GAC; 5 Micron Granular Activated Carbon for Chemicals)
Granulated Activated Carbon /UDF - High efficiency pre-filter reduces and removes: chlorine, volatile organic compounds (V.O.C), pesticides, nitrates, herbicides, tastes, odor, and disinfection by products (Chloramines, THM, TCE). Cartridges are constructed totally of FDA grade materials and media. In addition KDF media may be used for the removal of lead and other heavy metals.

STAGE 3:  (CCB; 1 Micron Coconut Carbon Block for Chemicals)
Carbon Block Filter / CTO – High efficiency pre-filter removes Chlorine, then reduces or removes Pesticides, Nitrates, Herbicides, tastes, odor, and disinfection by-products (chloramines, THM, TCE), Volatile Organic Compounds (V.O.C).

STAGE 4:  (100 GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane)

Reverse Osmosis Membrane- This semi permeable membrane filters and rejects tiny impurities, colloid, heavy metal, dissolvable solids, germs and other harmful substances. Virtually only water molecules and dissolved oxygen can pass through the membrane.  The rejected contaminants are flushed to drain. The product water is essentially nothing but high quality, low TDS water.

STAGE5:  (PC; Post Carbon polishing filters for taste and odor)
Post Activated Carbon Filter / T33- This carbon filter treats only R.O. water so it does an excellent job of "polishing" any Volatile Organic Compounds (V.O.C), Pesticides, Nitrates, Herbicides, tastes, odor, and disinfection by-products (chloramines, THM, TCE). That may have slipped through the membrane, plus, adsorbs any odors that may come from the pressure storage tank. Gives water a clean refreshed taste on the way to your tap.
