Functional Features
1. Safe and environment-friendly insulation system
For SG (B) series of transformers, the insulation system based on the NOMEXR paper is adopted. NOMEXR paper is world recognized high quality electric insulation material so SG series of transformers have excellent electric and mechanical performance. Moreover, NOMEXR paper is nontoxic, non-combustion-supporting and radiation-resistant. The reclaim of the transformer is easy after use; copper wire and core can be recycled to be used to really to be green product.
2. Low loss, less partial discharge, and more stable performance
Small volume, lightweight, low local discharge. The power frequency breakdown field strength of NOMEX Rpaper is 20- 40kV /mm. The relative dielectric constant is close to that of air. Thus the electric field distribution becomes more reasonable and the partial discharge is effectively reduced. NOMEXR paper itself does not absorb water and it efficiently obstructs external humid gas and performance is more steady and reliable after adopting vacuum pressure dipping paint. They are a new generation environment-friendly products featuring low loss and low noise.
3. Strong overload capability
NOMEXR paper belongs to Grade C insulation materials, it remains good electric and mechanical performance when heat resistance temperature reaches up to 220℃. We use it as insulation material of Grade H SG (B)transformers at l80 ℃ and improve the overload capability of transformers.
4. Reliable running and easy maintenance
HV of SG (B) transformer is pie winding in the case of high voltage and foil winding in case of low voltage. After being processed with vacuum pressure paint-dipping process, it has stronger capability of bearing abrupt short circuit. No crack occurs when running and maintenance is not necessary. The overall running cost is low. Flexible design is not restricted by the absence of dies. It can be designed according to any specification required by the customers. And perfect temperature protection control system can be equipped so as to provide reliable guarantee for the safe running of transformers.
