The WB-NEM-500
is a small high-reliability environment monitoring unit developed to provide environment/device control
and remote monitoring for communications base stations, integrated equipment rooms, and out-door cabinets.
The monitoring unit monitors important environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, smog, water penetration,
access control, vibration/leaning, main distribution frame (MDF), and surge protection device (SPD). When any value
collected by a sensor exceeds the preset threshold, an alarm is sent through the LCD, buzzer, or system log.
The monitoring unit also provides complete device detection functions, such as switch power status detection.
Through a preserved custom interface (optional), the unit can be connected to another sensor in main contact point
output type.
2. Features

and receives remote system commands over specified protocols in main contact point or RS485/232/IP mode.
2.5 Complete monitoring functionality: The monitoring unit intelligently controls all environment devices in an
equipment room, and automatically monitors environment parameters against the alarm thresholds from remote.

3. Functions
Signal collection function
The monitoring unit collects data of environment variables (such as temperature, humidity, smog) and device
variables (such as switch power), passes the data for multipoint control unit (MCU) processing and analysis, and
shows the equipment room status on the local liquid crystal display (LCD) or remote computer;
Alarm function
An alarm is sent when any value collected by a sensor exceeds the preset threshold;
History record function
Historical alarms can be queried.
Local or remote control function
Local users can press the front panel buttons to query and set parameters and data;
The monitoring unit communicates with the host computer through the Ethernet (IP)/RS232/RS485/main contact
point interface, and the host computer can read all status data of the monitoring unit and modify system settings
from remote.
The remote control software for the host computer is optional.
