Properties
High Silica Content: Comprises over 96% silica.
Temperature Resistance: Maintains properties up to 1000°C.
Material Composition: Made from silica yarns derived from continuous glass fibers with diameters of 6 μm or larger, treated to boost SiO2 content to over 94%.
Chemical Stability: Exhibits excellent chemical stability under normal conditions. However, glass fiber additives decompose above 200°C, which protect the fibers during handling and enhance their technical properties.
Compliance: Meets the REACH directive.
Resistance: Resists corrosion, chemical deterioration, and remains flexible at high temperatures. Withstands thermal shock, molten metal splashes, welding splatter, and direct flame impact.
Melting Point: Above 1600°C.
