Papaver SomniferumL Rapid Test Kit

Principle

Papaver somniferumL test card is based on lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test device has a testing window. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and C (control) zone. When sample is applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow on the surface of the test strip. If there is little Papaver somniferumL in the sample, a visible T band will appear; T band is invisible if it has more Papaver somniferumL in the sample. The C band should always appear after a sample is applied, indicating a valid result. By this means, the device can accurately indicate the presence of Papaver somniferumL in the Edible food.

Sample Preparation   

--Cooked hot pot                                         

Take 800µL of Sample Extraction and 200µL lower layer liquid of hot pot add  

1.5 mL tube ,shake properly.

--Chafing dish                                        

1)        Take 1g Chafing dish into 50mL centrifuge tube, add 20mL boiling water, cool it to room temperature, take 200µL lower layer liquid.

2)        Add into 1.5 mL tube , then add 800µL of sample extraction, shake properly.

Detect process

1.  Take out the cassette from the pack and place it horizontally.

2.  Return to room temperature (20-25℃), determine the cassette immediately.

3.  Add 3 drops sample solution(About 100µL, react for 5-8min and read result.
