Properties
Silane OSi HIOSil 1189 is a bifunctional organosilane possessing a reactive amino group and hydrolyzable inorganic trimethoxysilyl groups. Silane OSi HIOSil 1189 silane coupling agent can be used to deal with the inorganic powders, glass fiber and so on instead of AMEO, with significant improvement of the composite material's hardness, toughness, and other mechanical properties.
Silane OSi HIOSil 1189 is a colorless to slight yellowish liquid with a light amine-like odor which soluble in alcohols, and aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.
