[Performance] White amorphous powder, odorless, soluble in water, easy to absorb
moisture, average molecular weight of 15,000, stable at room temperature. The
potency of lithium heparin of the company is ≥150IU/mg, and the potency of
anhydrous litnium heparin is ≥ 160IU/ mg. Other indexes were controlled according
to the standard of heparin sodium.
[Scope of application]
1. This product is applicable to the collection and anti-coagulation of blood
samples for clinical biochemical examination and emergency biochemical
examination, as well as the collection and anti-coagulation of blood samples for
some hemorheology projects.
2. It is recommended to use lithium heparin as anticoagulant in clinical test to
determine the ions in blood, because it is the least likely to interfere with the
determination of other ions.
3. This product is not a drug and cannot be used as an injection. It is forbidden
to inject directly into human body and animals.
[Precautions]
In order to ensure adequate anti-coagulation of blood, the heparin salt must be
mixed upside down for 5-8 times as soon as possible after blood collection.
Especially when the temperature of blood collection environment is higher than
25℃, the mixing of blood and lithium heparin must be timely and sufficient,
otherwise it is easy to lead to blood coagulation or local coagulation.
