Our ground Joints provide a convenient NPT threaded fitting for high pressures.
The spud portion of the fitting is usually fixed permanently to the equipment, and the stem and nut attached to the hose are the other half. The wing nut on the spud can be rotated to easily achieve the seal on a tapered seat.
Our Ground Joint coupling is steel plated.
Ground Joint Coupling - Wing Nut
Ground joint fittings are designed for high pressure air or water (ie. Up to 500 psi) as well as steam (steam maximum 250 psi @ 450°F max) in plants, refineries, construction sites, or drilling applications.
Ground Joint Coupling - Female SPUd
Ground Joint female spud is included in the female hose coupling set. Purchase additional female spuds to convert additional equipment, pipe, and manifolds to ground joint wing nut thread.
Ground Joint Coupling - Hose Stem
Ground Joint Coupling-Hose Stem are to be installed by a fully trained assembler and are designed to be used with interlocking bolt clamps.
Ground Joint Coupling - Male SPUd
Ground Joint Male Spuds can be used to connect female ground joint hose couplings to threaded manifolds, valves, and equipment. Thread the NPT side to any pipe threaded connection and then swivel a female ground
Ground Joint Coupling - Double SPUd
Ground Joint Double Spuds are used to connect hoses with female ground joint couplings together. Each side has the ground joint wing-nut thread and special polymer seal.
Ground Joint Coupling - Male Stem
Detailed information about ground joint coupling- male stem including its application and recommended hose attachment.
