Alloy825 has good corrosion resistance to various processing environments, including sulfuric ac-id, sulfurous ac-id, phosphoric ac-id, nitric ac-id, hydrofluoric ac-id, aci-d chloride and the like.

Compared with general austenitic stainless steel, nickel in alloy 825 also makes it resistant to chloride stress corrosion, while molybdenum and copper give it a relatively high corrosion resistance in a reducing environment.

This typical nickel-based alloy is easy to form and weld by technical processing.
