I． Introduction

Ivy Machinery, the leading power door system manufacturer in China, offers an innovative actuator (ER300 Electric Door Operator) for the medium-duty bus market.  This compact unit is designed specially for shuttle buses, light and medium coaches, utility vehicles, limo-buses and midi-buses.

The assembly is consist of welding motor structure,unit assemblage of pivoted arm.The structure, the position of installation and the dimension of joint are shown on the following figure. It uses direct current motor as power supply, controlled by power switch. The axe of motor rotates clockwise (or anticlockwise). The rotation is decelerated by a turbine-worm gear and two pairs of other gears. When there is rotary moment on the output axes of the operator, the door will be opened (closed). After the door panel touches the door frame, screw lifting mechanism of pivoted arm will begin work, the door will be lifted, and the four locks installed on the door and door frame will be locked. In the process of closing door, if something or somebody blocks it, the prevention from clipping will work immediately, and the door will open automatically. In case of emergency, put the red handle in "manual" position, the door can be opened by hand easily. This product not only has the function of opening and closing the door agilely and smoothly, but also has the function of prevention from clipping and locking itself. It has the excellence of little noise, non-pollution, low failure rate, and safety.
