Description of Polyglactine 910 (PGLA)suture
Janteng surgical suture PGLA is widely used in the hospitals, clinics, LABs, etc. Janteng has been supplying varies of absorbable synthetic suture with or without needles for many years. All these PGA sutures are certified by CE, ISO as per EU directives.
Janteng PGLA Surgical suture is jointed by quality 402/405 stainless needle with quality suture thread (synthetic absorbable suture) ,firmly combining with synthetic absorbable suture of medicalapplication, applied to suture soft tissues on human body. The PGA suture thread, employed on surgical suture needle with thread of medical application, is madeof Poly(glycolide-co-L-lactide) (Glacomer910) which molecular formula is–([0-CH2-CO]9-[O-CH(CH3)-CO]1)n-by processing finely. The suture thread and its coatare covered with inert, non-antigenic and non-pyrogenic polymeric imide andstearic calcium. The suture and its coat can be absorbed by human body throughdegradation and its degradationhave no reverseaction on human body.
♦ Synthetic absorbable multifilament braided Polyglactine under violet color.
♦ Made of Polyglactine consisting of polycaprolactone and calcium separate coating.
♦ The tissue reactivity inmicroscopic form is minimum.
♦ The absorption is madeby hydrolytic progressive action completed between 25 and 40 days.
♦ The material holdsapproximately 75% of its tensile strength by the end of the two weeks and 50%by the third week.
♦ Color code: violet
♦ Frequently used in tissuecooptation ties and ophthalmic procedures.
General Charactors of Polyglactine 910 (PGLA)suture
This foregoing results in an adequate alignment regardingits molecular structure providing the following benefits:
♦ High tensile strength.
♦ Excellent handling.
♦ Low tissue reaction.
♦ Predictable absorption rate.
♦ Firm and safe Knotting.
♦ Gouge within the U.S.P. /EP
♦ Safe closure of the tissue up to theircomplete cicatrisation.
♦ It does not have collagen proteins, antigens or pyrogenous agents, its absorption is through hydrolysis, thusproviding a low tissue reaction.
