B&G Vulcan 7 FS with Navionics+ Chart

The B&G Vulcan7 FS Display is a powerful all-in-one Chart plotter and depth sounder (with optional transducer) for small-mid sized sail boats. Vulcan7 FS incorporates B&G's forward looking collision avoidance sonar technology for safe passage making in areas where chart accuracy is uncertain. Vulcan7 will also connect to B&G sailing instruments and autopilot systems for a fully integrated electronics package.

Comes with Navionics+ Download Chart. Download one area of your choice e.g. 28XG - UK/Ireland, Northern France and Netherlands.

Full functioning Chartplotter This powerful chartplotter has all the usual features such as waypoints, routes and tracks. It comes with a high speed 10Hz Internal GPS antenna ensuring pinpoint position accuracy 

Dedicated sail/cruise features
Packed with sailing specific functions such as B&G's Award Winning SailSteer™ and Sailing Time, sailors can see all key sailing data at a glance. SailSteer allows sailors to view crucial sailing data on one handy screen or alternatively overlaid on your position on the chartplotter screen. With the addition of sailing instruments and sensors via NMEA 2000® network, SailSteer evolves with the possibility to show Boat Speed, Wind data, Heading, Tide, Wind Shift Sectors and even Laylines – enhancing the detail on the SailSteer and chart screens. Sailors can also make the most of Sailing Time, which provides accurate waypoint arrival times based on realistic sailing manoeuvres, rather than a straight-line calculation.

Vulcan 7 FS design gives maximum display in a small form factor. With pinch to zoom and swipe to pan, the Vulcan 7 FS is intuitive to use and the easy to navigate menu's make the V7 so simple to operate 

Secondary autopilot controller
When connected to a B&G Pilot, the V7 acts as a fully functioning autopilot controller providing Intelligent Sail Steering, manual and auto steering functions and Smart Manoeuvre combined with intuitive menus for ultimate control.

Integrated Wi-Fi
Vulcan 7 FS has built in WIFI allowing you to connect to the internet, via a marina or smartphone Hotspot, and access the GoFree™ Shop where you can download charts and software updates direct to your Vulcan 7 FS. You can also mirror your Vulcan 7 FS on your smartphone or tablet allowing your to view and control (tablet only) your chartplotter from virtually anywhere on your boat. 

Smart NMEA2000 networking
Easily and seamlessly connects essential kit for cruising and sailing such as Sailing Instruments, SonicHub marine audio server, ZG100 external GPS antenna and DSC VHF Marine Radio, and continuously monitors sailing data, ready for when you need. 

ForwardScan™
Add an optional ForwardScan™ transducer to see what lies ahead under the water with approaching depth information. Explore poorly-charted or unfamiliar waters confidently with a clear image of the bottom ahead of your boat.
