Wedge wire screw press filter screen is mainly used in the application of dewatering manure in farms. It is a simple, slow moving mechanical device. Dewatering is continuous and is achieved by gravity drainage at the inlet end of the screw and then by volume reduction as the dewatered material is conveyed from the inlet to the outlet end of the screw press.
