High Precision Photo Chemical Etched Kovar Sealing Lids
Applications:
Kovar sealing lids are a natural type product for the chemical machining process. The flange around the periphery is the critical feature usually requiring a tolerance of +/- .0003″ in thickness in order to properly seat the central pedestal.
Chemical machining is the preferred process since no burrs or induced camber allow for optimum glass to metal sealing for hermetic requirements.
