Gray cast iron itself hardness is not high, we commonly choose Brinell hardness (between HB170~210).

For the factory of processing gray cast iron parts with small batch production, people will choose carbide insert which will be more economic, such as YG series. While for the small batch production factory, the efficiency will not affect their profits.
