Fiberglass Round Rods FRP Rod Blanks Fiberglass round rods are reinforced composite material consisting of continuous glass fiber yarn and thermosetting resin, which are pulled by the thermal pultrusion moulding machine. The pultruded fiberglass round rod retains high strength property of glass fiber. At the same time the coating resin enables the rod good elasticity, anti-corrosion, hard to crack or break. High strength light weight, the specific gravity of fiberglass rods is only 2/3 of aluminum, 1/4 – 1/5 of carbon steel. Therefore, fiberglass rods are substitute for metal rods.
