The hybrid wall system is best for use on buildings where a compromise between a unitized wall system and a stick wall system is required due to design or construction issues. The issues range from the size or location of the structural elements to the need for an early commencement of the site phase.

The hybrid wall design achieves comparative performance to the unitized system as much of the system is similarly built under controlled factory conditions. As this system is a hybrid between the unitized and stick systems, it tends to use the better qualities of each to allow smaller, more manageable units. These units are installed on a support frame which is structurally more efficient and can be installed much earlier in the construction process.

If designed correctly, the schedule for this system tends to work the best of all as it allows the free, unhindered erection of the support frame followed by the non-sequential installation of panels. Therefore, leave outs and later fill ins of areas around obstacles such as material hoists, cranes, loading platforms, etc. are not so much of an issue.
