The Retractable Grounding Reel is used to substantially reduce the fire risk of floating roof tanks. It is reliable to prevent fires triggered by lightning currents.
To resist corrosion, the reel is constructed from 316L stainless steel and the copper cable is tinned.
The RGR is designed to be easily installed onto any existing tank, even those that are in service.
It is also easy to inspect and is designed to be very low maintenance.
