Product Description

Conical bottle is a kind of borosilicate glass 3.3 bottle in chemical laboratory. It has flat bottom and conical shape. It has a cylindrical neck and a wider opening mouth above it. Sometimes it can be closed by cork or rubber stoppers. There is graduation on the bottle to indicate the capacity it can hold.The capacity of conical bottles varies from 50 mL to 5000 mL. The commonly used glass conical bottles add boron according to Pyrex specifications to increase their heat resistance. Conical bottles are mostly used in titration experiments, reflux heating and crystallization in analytical chemistry, and their shape makes them very suitable for these tasks. The long neck part can not only add stoppers conveniently, but also slow down the loss of heat and avoid chemical spills. As for its flat and wide bottom, the conical bottle is allowed to carry more solution, it is convenient to mix with glass rod and the conical bottle is allowed to be placed flat on the table. Because conical bottles are very common and interesting in shape, they are often used as symbols of chemical experiments or related chemistry, and are commonly used in many signs and instructions.

Nitrogen flask is an oval conical flask with long neck. When distilling ammonia, the flask body is oval. It is easy for the steam to concentrate in the bottom center and turn over. It can be distilled evenly. The long neck plays a cooling role and is easy for the steam to cool in the reflux flask. Principle of using nitrogen flask: destroy organic matter with sulfuric a-cid, produce ammonia sulfate, and then measure the content of nitrogen.

Method of using nitrogen flask:

When in use, the nitrogen flask is washed and dried first, and the tested object is weighed by putting aluminium foil on the balance, then wrapped with aluminium foil, and put into the nitrogen flask together. Sulfuric a-cid is put into the flask and heated, so that the tested object reacts with sulfuric a-cid to form ammonia sulfate. It must be noted that the flask needs to tilt 45℃ when heated,so that the solution in the bottle is not easy to burst boiling overflow. When nitrogen determination is carried out with a straight device, a nitrogen balloon must be added to the nitrogen flask to protect it and be connected with the nitrogen balloon.
