Installation

 

1. The installation temperature should not over 20, If the ambient temperature is lower than 0, the cable should be preheated.
2. The bending radius of cable should not less than 8 times.
3. After installantion, the cable should with stand voltage test for 15min. 3.5kv D.C.

 

Construction

 

Conductor : Annealed Copper Conductor as per IEC 60228

≤6mm2 solid (class 1) or stranded (class 2)

6mm2 stranded (class 2)

Flexible conductor(class 5) optional.

Insulation : PVC(polyvinyl chloride) rated at 75

Metallic Screen optional : Copper tape or copper wires braiding optional

Armored optional: :Aluminum wire or stainless steel tape for single core cable, Steel wire or steel tape for multi core cable

Sheath : PVC or FR-PVC type ST2 to IEC 60502, black or red or customization

 

Applications

 

PVC Insulated Cable is used as power distribution and transmission line at rated voltage 0.6/1KV.

Used outside as energy utility and lighting cables, in cable ducts, under ground, under normal and salty water if specially made.

International: IEC 60502, IEC 60228, (IEC 60332-3 for FR-type only)

China: GB/T 12706, (GB/T 18380-3 for FR-type only)

Other standards such as BS,DIN and ICEA upon request
