Product Description
Chromium oxide gives this abrasive the pink color and higher toughness than White fused alumina. The hardness of Pink fused alumina is almost as same as White fused alumina.
Pink Fused Alumina is also characterized by high melting point, acid-alkali resistance
and chemical stability.

Applications:
Applications of Pink fused alumina is almost as same as White fused alumina, but Pink fused alumina has a better durability, higher cutting ability, and better roughness of surfaces of work pieces than White fused alumina.
l Pink fused alumina is used for precision grinding of measuring tools, lathe main shafts, instruments and apparatus parts, threading work pieces and many other applications in grinding like flute grinding, tooth grinding, dry grinding of blade
segments, tool and internal grinding.
l Pink fused alumina is best suitable for high alloy steel applications, ideal for tool sharpening such as high speed steel cutters, reamers, chisels, end mill and sharpening band saw blades. Pink fused alumina is also recommended for knife-sharpening applications, working non-ferrous metals and the alloys.
l Pink fused alumina has good performance for vitrified bonded abrasives , vitrified grinding wheels, coated abrasives and blasting abrasives,
l Pink fused alumina can also be used for softer materials, such as wood, Synth-
etics, etc.
