Introduction
The Form traveler is the main equipment in the cantilever
construction method, According to the structural form can be divided into
trussed type(as diamond, triangle), Cable-stayed type, cable-stayed type and
mixed type.We are generally used the formtraveler cantilever construction plan
when the bridge crossing the mountain valley, river channel and vehicle or ships
impassable.

Form
There are 4 types of form traveler: truss type (including horizontal
chord with no counterweight, rhombus, triangular, bowstring, etc.), cable-stayed
(including triangular and pre-stressed), profiled steel and hybrid according to
form of structure.
The rhombic form traveler designed and manufactured by
Sanbo consists of main trusses, hanging system, anchoring system, travelling
system and bottom formwork. Constructors placing 2-4 meters each time, and after
the bridge is hardened and reaches adequate strength, hydraulic equipment will
push the form travelers forwardly, then a new section of bridge is
casted.
