YAG laser cutting machine has the characteristic of good stability and low price;at present,the output power of mainly products are below 1000W. Because of its low power, so this machine is mainly for sheet metal's citting,punching and welding. Its green laser beam can be applied under the circumstance of pulse or continious wave; which adpot the features of short wavelength.Yag solid laser cutting machine's wavelength is easily absorbed by metal and belongs to pulse laser, which has a high instantaneous power so can cut non-ferrous metal materials such as copper, aluminum. YAG solid laser cutting machine's wavelength is about 1.06um, which is hard to be absorbed by non-metal materials. Therefore it can not cut non-metal.
CO2 laser cutting machine can cut stably carbon steel within 20mm, stainless steel within 10mm, aluminum alloy within 8mm. CO2 laser's wavelengh is about 10.6um, which is easy to be absorbed by non-metals, so can cut wood, acylic,PP and so on. But CO2 laser's photoelectric conversion is only about 10%.
Fiber laser cutting machine is easy maintenence, high speed and less trouble because it is transfer by fiber and has a high flexibility. So fiber laser cutting machine has a great advantages of cutting sheet metal which thickness within 4mm. Fiber laser cutting machine's wavelength is 1.06um. So fiber laser cutting machine is hard to absorbed and cut non-metal laser cutting machine.
A brief introduction to the CNC laser cutter machine system
Laser cutting machine system generally consists of laser source,laser beam transmission componet, work table, water chiller, micro cnc cabinet etc.
1, Laser source
For the function of laser source, the mojority of company adopt Co2 laser source with high photoelectical efficency and high output power except all but use YAG solid laser souce in a few occassions. Therefore, not all laser source can be used for cutting.
2, CNC Laser Cutter Tool
It is compose of three parts: work table(generally is precision machine tool), beam transmission system(sometimes called relector path) and micro cnc system. According to the different movements of cutting cabinet and work table, it can be divided into three type:
Firstly, beam and work table move forward x and y seperately during cutting
Secondly, only beam move during cutting.
Thirdly, only work table move during cutting.
3, FIve axis machine
Sometimes, we also need to cut 3D components in industrial manufacture. However, the normal two-axis and three-axis laser cutting machine can only cut 2D components. In this occassion, it is neccessary to equip,five axis machine, laser cutting machine with machiene hand.
4, Laser blanking machine
Over the years, a laser blanking machine combined with the function of laser cutting machine and mechanical punching technology has been developed at home and abroad. To the complicated sharp conponents, this kinds of machine firstly stamping to inner bore and then cut beam or long lines by laser cutting.
