The connect way in the inside part of each single breadboard is like this: 5 holes are connected in the row, but the left 5 holes is not connected to the right 5 holes, if you need them connect, you can use wire or other components. 50 holes are connected in the bus line.
The hole is square. Inside the holes, it is spring clip. It is flexible. It accepts the electronic components which the pin is between AWG 20 and AWG 29. And the inside metal is with good quality. It can bear being inserted many times.
