Equipment Description
LECA (Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate) is an aggregate made of expanded clay at average 1200 C° in rotary kiln, the Yielding gases are expanded by thousands of small bubbles as long as this temperature and those will be provide many voids and honeycombs at these round shape aggregates when melted materials become cold.
The manufactured aggregates are produce in various sizes; Four usual grades are (0-4) mm, (4-10) mm, (10-25) mm and mix grade 0-25 mm which has 350-700kg/m3 density, LECA boulder is a the bigger size of LECA with 100-500 mm size and 500 kg/m3 density.

Shale Stone---crushing---separating---calcination---cooling--separating---packing.
Following is the description Shale LECA:
1.crushing The size of SHALE from mine is around 300~500mm, low moisture, After two-stage crushing which is composed by Jaw crusher and hammer crusher, the size of shale will be 5-25mm.
2. Dosing shale and separating into different size.
3.Calcining Raw Material in rotary kiln , with the revolution and slope of rotary kiln, calcined ceramic sand move toward to the kiln head, meanwhile, pulverized coal (or gas)spray into the kiln burner from kiln head.
