The CA168-M is an upgraded high profile new generation of smart electricity meter that integrates high precision metrology features along with wireless communication and contractual methodology. It is a single phaes two wires electric meter that operates in both prepayment and post-prepayment mode. The meter changes the payment mode upon receipt of command from back-end server. Utility can choose from various contractual billing control for consumers.
The CA168-M works with a plug-in module for data collection and network communications . This modular design offers utility free selection from PLC/RF/GPRS/3G and 4G LTE cellular data networks according to local infrastructure conditions to reduce operational cost. Upgrade and maintenance will also become cost-effective by replacing the modules only instead of the whole meter.
