Push Button Switch can be done to start, stop, reversing, speed and interlock basic control. Generally, each button switch with two pairs of contacts. Each pair of contacts are represented by a normally open contact and one normally closed contact components. When you press the button, and two pairs of contacts simultaneous operation, normally closed contacts open, normally open contact closure.
In order to identify the role of each button, to avoid misuse, usually the button cap made in different colors to show the difference, and its colors are red, green, black, yellow, blue, and white. For example, red means stop button, green start button and so on. Button switches the main parameters, type, mounting hole size, contact number and contact current capacity, are detailed in the product manual instructions.
