Gallium Metal
MATERIAL OVERVIEW
Characteristics: Soft silvery-white metal and liquid at the temperature of about 29.76 °C (85.57 °F) or slightly above room temperature. Elemental gallium is a brittle solid at lower termperature. Soluble in acid, alkali and slightly soluble in mercury. Reacts with most metals at high temperatures.
Application: Gallium could be used in different fields, according to its purity. Primarily used in semiconductor and optoelectronic applications, however, it is also used in metal alloying and energy storage applications.
