Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium super alloy with addition of molybdenum and copper. The chemical composition of Incoloy 825 is designed to provide exceptional resistance to many corrosive environments. It has improved resistance to aqueous corrosion as compared to Incoloy 800 , otherwise both are same . Incoloy 825 is especially resistant to phosphoric and sulfuric acids.

Applications include chemical processing, pollution control, oil and gas recovery, acid production, pickling operations, nuclear fuel reprocessing and handling of radioactive wastes.
