40CrNi6 is a kind of alloy structural steel . Carbon alloy quenched and tempered steel. 40CrNi6 has high strength, high toughness and high hardenability. In the quenched state, good mechanical properties, good low temperature impact toughness. There is a tendency to temper brittleness, water-cooled easy to crack. Good machinability , but poor weldability. 40CrNi6 is used in the quenched state .
