Molybdenum TZM Alloy Sheets Molybdenum Alloy Sheets for Vacuum Furnace

 

TZM alloy has a higher recrystallization temperature, higher strength, hardness and good ductility at room and elevated temperatures than pure molybdenum. TZM alloy offers twice the strength of pure moly at temperatures over 1300'C. The recrystallization temperature of TZM is approximately 250'C higher than moly and it offers better weldability. In addition, TZM exhibits good thermal conductivity, low vapor pressure, and good corrosion resistance and is machinable.

 

Brief Introducstion of TZM Alloy Sheets:

 

Composition: Ti: 0.4-0.55%  Zr: 0.06-0.08%, Mo:99.2% to 99.5%  C: 0.01-0.04%

Purity: Mo ≥99.20%
Density: ≥10.10g/cm3
Appearance: It`s black brown, and will turn to a silver metallic luster after alkali-washing
Application: Used in high-temperature vacuum and hydrogen-atmosphere furnace construction.
