Description:
 

Cemented carbide anvil is a critical component for producing synthetic diamond. Due to its high strength, wear resistance, excellent toughness and thermal stability, tungsten carbide becomes an ideal material for this application. 

 

Cemented carbide anvils are installed to six synthetic diamond pressers and work in a super-critical state: 10 to 20 GPa and over 1500.

 

Our tungsten carbide anvil is made of optimum quality raw material wc and cobalt using by powder metallurgy technology.

 

Grade YG8 is a highly recommended.

 

Before using it, anvils must undergo aging process to eliminate internal residual stress, in case cracking happens during usage. Noncontinuous operations should be avoided. Tests must be done when optimizing and adjusting the process. When the process of a single piece of equipment is stable, then it can be applied to other equipment.
