Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) commonly referred to as “Lithium Iron” batteries are an alternative battery type for common lead-acid batteries for motorcycles.
Lithium Iron batteries, while often more expensive than lead-acid batteries, offer some advantages over lead-acid batteries.
Lighter, Stronger, Better! Powerstart LFP batteries deliver more energy faster, with less weight than any other brand or technology available on the market today. Powerstart has much lighter weight than the orignal-equipment battery, and do not suffer the chemical sulfation that kills lead acid batteries as they sit untended. The batteries are easy to install, and have the same charge requirements as lead-acid types. Typical motorcycle charging systems range from 13.7V to 14.8V output voltage. LFP 12v series require a minimum charging voltage 13.1V or higher at idle, and must not exceed 15.2V charge maximum.

Major parameters of protection board:
Overcharge protection: Starting protection in the voltage range of 15.0v -15.6v,resume normal under the voltage 15.0v.
Over discharge protection: Starting protection in the voltage range of 8.0v-8.4v,resume normal over 8.4v.
Short circuit protection: Starting protection when short circuit,switch off the load,resume normal.
Average voltage: average 3.6v voltage per cell.
Installation instructions:
Please check the recharge voltage of the vehicles. It can be installed in the voltage range of 13.5v to 14.8v.
It shows there is malfuction when the charge voltage is over 15.0v. Please install the batteries after overhauling.
Please check the battery voltage before installation. No need to charge when battery voltage is over 12.8v. Please charge the battery to over 13.6v-14.8v when the voltage is under 12.8v.
Please check the position of the positive and negative to avoid short circuit.
Charge and maintanence instructions:
Please make a charge maintanence to keep the best performance when the LiFePo4 motorcycle batteries are leave unused for over 1 year.
Suggest to use 14.8v lithium battery charger as the preference,and the 13.8v lead acid battery chargers is the second choice.
