Description:

 

  1. The process of this plant is that the air is purified by molecular sieve with boosting turbo expander, and the nitrogen is produced by single column of drag flow.
  2. The feed air is removed with dust and mechanical impurities in the air filter, and then enters air compressor to be compressed.
  3. After preliminary purification, part of the air is used as instrument air; and the other part enters the booting end of expander for booting, then enter main heater exchanger; and at the upper part of main heat exchanger the air firstly is cooled by the low temperature refrigerator, then enters main heat exchanger for further cooling; and at the middle part of main heat exchanger, part of the air is withdrawn out to expander for expansion and refrigeration, and the expanded air enters into main heat exchanger for re-warming, after which it enters air compressor for circulation. The rest is cooled continuously, after out of main heat exchanger, it enters the bottom of nitrogen column to follow rectification, by which product nitrogen gas and liquid nitrogen will be obtained at the top of nitrogen column, and the saturated oxygen-rich liquid air at the bottom of column is throttled to the evaporation side of condenser evaporator to condense the nitrogen at the top of column.
  4. The waste nitrogen is withdrawn from the evaporation side of condenser evaporator to the main heat exchanger to be rewarmed to the normal temperature, and then goes out of cold box: part will be the regeneration gas of MS, and the rest will be discharged out.
  5. The product nitrogen gas and liquid nitrogen will be extracted from the top of column, the nitrogen gas will be sent to the user after being rewarmed in the main heat exchanger and compressed to the required pressure in the compressor; the liquid nitrogen is sent to the user’s storage tank.
