Description:

 

The plant’s process is using molecular sieve to purify air, and using waste nitrogen backflow expansion for refrigeration.

Competitive Advantage:

 

     All pressure vessel of this nitrogen plant is designed and manufactured in accordance with ASME specifications for long, stable and reliable running, economization of energy, convenient operation and maintenance. The process is featured by the following:

     (1)  By means of single column with expansion accomplished through backflow, which can supply nitrogen gas with medium pressure directly without compression in backward nitrogen compressor, which not only cuts down cost, but also prevents secondary pollution, as well as reduces power consumption.

     (2)  PLC is used to control the automatic switchover of molecular sieve purification system such that the reliability and safety in running of the plant are greatly improved and the loss in switchover of air is reduced.

     (3)  The advanced software introduced from abroad for calculation of performance is used to analyze the optimization of process adopted by this plant. The more advanced program developed by Hangyang itself on the basis of rectification design module from Linde for rectification calculation and verified in many air separation plants is applied to ensure the price proportion of optimum technical/economical figures to fine performance.

     (4)  The plate and fin heat exchangers are brazed by large size vacuum brazing furnace which is the first one in China imported from SW Corp. in USA. The cores vacuum brazed by this furnace are of good quality and in long service life. Hangyang has developed new and efficient fin types in recent years to get the heat exchangers more efficient.

     (5)  The stress is analyzed and strength is calculated in details for the cold box in fractionating column system in accordance with the client’s local meteorological and geological conditions to ensure the safety of cold box. The stress is analyzed for the main pipelines located in cold box. The aluminum alloy material with high strength is used to fabricate these pipelines to keep them non-deformable. The 3 kinds of supports in cold box are made of stainless steel such that the strength at low temperature can be ensured and the loss in heat conduction is reduced. The valves in the cold box are manual controlled.

     (6)  The advanced PLC centralized control technology is utilized to realize the integral control of central, local panel and on-site controls with the result that the production process of the complete nitrogen plant can be effectively monitored.
