Description:
- LEDs do not have warm up time to reach their full intensity – HIDs take about 5-10 seconds to fully warm up
- LEDs can be used in both high and low beams – HIDs take time to warm up so their use in high beams is not recommended unless both low beam and high beam stay on in high beam mode.
- LED life span is 10x that of HIDs
- LED work in subzero temperatures – some HIDs may have difficulty firing up in extreme cold below -40C
