Detail Design
This transceiver module has three functional blocks. They are transmitter circuit, receiver circuit and MCU. Transmitter circuit consists of laser driver and laser. Receiver circuit consists of PIN-TIA and limiting amplifier. The MCU ADUC7020 controls the driver through I2C and provides I2C interface to host board. The host MCU can read the Diagnostic Monitoring data through I2C interface.
The transmitter and receiver include the 1310nm DFB transmitter and a 1260nm~1620nm receiver. It’s can transmit the 1310nm wavelength optical signal. The receiver is the highly integrated photoelectric component, including a high-speed PIN and a transimpedance amplifier with a higher sensitivity.
