Description

Dry copper-base friction material is that taking copper as main component, adding some non-metallic elements and made by powder metallurgy method, which is used in dry clutch or dry brake. It is high in static and dynamic friction coefficiencies, big in torque transmission, and high temperature resistance. Brake and clutch applying this material has simple structure.

1. Dynamic friction coefficiency: 0.2~0.35(pressure sintering method); 0.3~0.4(sprinkling method)
2. Static friction coefficiency: 0.35~0.45(pressure sintering method): 0.5~0.65(sprinkling method)
3. Wear rate: ≤2×10^-7cm³/J (pressure sintering method); ≤5×10^-7cm³/J (sprinkling method)
4. Permissible specific pressure: 1~3MPa

Application

Dry copper-base friction material is widely used in lorry, heavy mine car, tractor and machine electromagnetic clutch, torque limiter and brake etc.
