This tester is used to measure the permeability of various kinds of textiles, cloths, etc.
The rate of air flow passing perpendicularly through a known area of fabric is adjusted to obtain a prescribed air pressure differential between the two fabric surfaces. From this rate of air flow,the air permeability of fabric is determined.
This type make out the air flow (cc/㎝2 /sec) with the conversion table, according to the value of vertical barometer and the diameter of used nozzle.
Three kinds of calibration plate are provided to verify the known air permeability at the prescribed test pressure.
AP-360S-type employs the air clamp to fix specimen efficiently.(Air compressor is necessary).
